About Richard Sellmer Advent Calendars

  1. All of their advent calendars and Christmas cards are made in Germany, in 70565 Stuttgart. They are a small family business with about 10 employees. They also have freelance sales representatives, various graphic artists and a sales office in England.
  2. Almost all work steps take place in their Christmas workshop in Stuttgart-Rohr.
  3. Environmental info: the plastic film in which our products are packaged is 100 percent recyclable. The cardboard on the front of our advent calendars is mainly made from recycled paper.
  4. Sellmer Verlag has been around for a long time, since 1945 to be precise. Sellmer was the first advent calendar publisher to enter the market after the Second World War. Founded by the grandfather of Frank and Oliver Sellmer, the current bosses.
Therefore, there are still many old motifs that are still in the program. A fundus for nostalgia lovers!
Even with new motifs, we always attach great importance to the fact that the motif on the front lives on when the door is opened. The rear image complements what is happening on the front. A nice surprise every day. The city motifs show sights of the respective region, as well as Christmas ornaments.
