About the artist
“It is a great opportunity to be part of the Flamingo team and to have the freedom to submit various styles of art to add to their exciting and inspiring ranges.
My career started in-house, working in a fantastic studio, which taught me the intricacies of the greeting card industry from concept, through design, and the printing process.
I have now been a freelance artist for 20 years and have worked with many of the top publishers covering everything from Charity cards, Corporate cards, Everyday and Seasonal, using a variety of styles and mediums. This ever-evolving industry helps to push the boundaries in styles and trends which in turn encourage me to develop my own styles and techniques from watercolour to Mac illustration. I take my inspiration and ideas from many things but I think my passion for illustrating is key to progressing in this creative industry.
