About the Artist
Hi, I’m Beverly and I share my time between painting and running a holiday business in the beautiful West Highlands, which suits these two pursuits perfectly.
In my art I search to capture the essence of the subject through colour and the capturing of expression and movement. Working primarily in acrylics, animal portraiture has been my main discipline since gaining a BA Hons in visual art. Additionally, I increasingly enjoy ventures into landscape, inspired by the mountain moods. They present the opportunity for experimentation with different palettes, media and techniques, which in turn inform my portraiture.
